Older model 110lt <span class="highlight">waeco</span> fridges

For those who may own an older model with the LED lights as thermostat setting instead of a gauge only...
Note that if your fridge keeps cooling and freezing up there may be lite at the end of the tunnel for you cost wise so make note of this if you did not already know.
When
Waeco made this model for some reason they installed 2 thermistors for control of the fridge temp NOT JUST ONE.....(one is a spare)
What does this mean for you?
Well repair is only about $55 if a repairer does it or nothing if you do the repair. Just unplug u/s
thermistor and plug the spare in..
If both thermistors fail cost to repair is in the $250 range as the base needs to come off so the old thermistors can be removed, replaced and tested.
Grrr!!!

My son in-law has this freezing problem with his. He is an industrial electrician away on holidays at present so will show him this when he returns. Thanks heaps. Bob.
